Question: In a recent survey, it was revealed that 73% of us don’t do this until we have no other option. What is it?

Answer: Ask for help!

Interestingly enough, the same survey showed that 53% percent of us feel held back from achieving certain goals in our lives because we try to go at it alone. It’s hard to thrive when we need help. Why don’t we ask for what we need more often?

Maybe we’re embarrassed that we need help. Maybe we’ve asked for help in the past, only to be let down or denied what we need.

In any case, the truth is that we don’t have to go it alone. We have a good, good God, who never leaves us or forsakes us, and is always at work even when we don’t see it. He’s always present, listening to our unspoken requests and wordless prayers. Today, a longtime friend of Celebration, Karl Wheeler, brings us a sermon on this very topic.
