Question: Since the fourth century, it’s been believed that THIS can reveal hundreds of your personality traits, and even predict your job performance. What is it?

Answer: Your handwriting!

The study of handwriting, Graphology (how someone writes), has long been thought to show us a lot about a person. But rigorous, peer-reviewed studies consistently show that graphologists perform no better than chance at predicting personality traits or job performance.

While HOW we write might not say much about us, certainly WHAT we write communicates important things about what we think, feel, and value. In our scripture passage today, both HOW and WHAT God wrote to a particular king revealed what lies in the hearts of people and what God values. As we continue our series on Living in Exile, pastor Jill brings us a sermon from Daniel 5 called “Who’s In Charge?”
