Answer: WHY?!
When it comes to hearing a word from God, it’s rare that God shouts. While we might like Him to do that sometimes, God seems to speak quietly to us. He’s a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. Jesus said that He’s meek and humble in heart, so it makes sense that He wouldn’t overwhelm us. How then do we hear Him over all the noise if He speaks quietly?
