Do you agree that pumpkin pie is the most tempting dessert during the holidays? The holidays are filled with lots of good things—-good food, good time with family and friends, good worship, and good gifts. The holidays are filled with another good thing that we don’t necessarily like or talk about: HOPE. We hope things will get better or that things will change. This season of hope is also called the season of Advent. On this first Sunday of Advent, we come with waiting hearts and hope-filled hearts to hear from God together. Today Pastor Jill begins our Advent Series with a message called “What Are You Hoping For?”
