Question: 20% of people speak to these on a daily basis even though they can’t talk back. What is it?

Answer: Their plants!

Do you have plants that you talk to? Do you talk to plants that are not yours?
Plants don’t talk back with words, of course, but they do communicate when they’re thriving and when they’re thirsty. When they are healthy and when something is not right. It’s part of God’s design.

When we get thirsty, we get a glass of water. But what do we do when our souls get thirsty? When our souls are no longer thriving but surviving? Well, we’re not alone. Scripture is filled with stories of thirsty souls, like us, who find God’s refreshment in the driest of places. This morning, Pastor Mike Sares brings us a message from Psalm 63 called “The Song of the Thirsty: Longing for God in the Dry Seasons.”
