Question: 60% of Gen Z’ers say they use this to avoid awkward conversations and workplace anxiety. What is it?
Answer: Email!
Email can certainly help us avoid having difficult or awkward conversations at work. However, in our daily lives, to truly know someone and be known by them, we have to open ourselves up to the possibility of awkwardness, vulnerability, anxiety, and even pain in a relationship. That can make it really hard to develop relationships where we feel seen, loved, understood and accepted.
This is even more true when it comes to knowing and being known by God. We have to be willing to be open and honest with Him. We have to be willing to let Him into the deepest parts of ourselves where it feels awkward, vulnerable, and even scary. That’s the subject of today’s message.
