Question: Even though the idea is a little outdated, 7% of us still do this. What is it?

Answer: Hang clothes on a clothesline!

You can understand why 93% of us use a dryer rather than a clothes line. It saves a lot more time and takes a lot less effort. The same could be said of our modern water delivery system. Drawing water from a well is a lot of work and takes a lot of time. Either way, we all need clean clothes, and we all need water.

In today’s sermon, we’ll see how Jesus met the even deeper needs of a particular woman around a well, how Jesus desires to meet needs much deeper than clean clothes and water for all of us, and how we’re called to be the kind of church that helps meet those same needs. Pastor Jill wraps up our current sermon series today in a sermon called “The Kingdom of God Is a Party: For People in Need of the Grace & Truth of Jesus Christ.”
