Answer: Toothpaste!
You never know when you might want to brush your teeth and it might be good to keep some toothpaste in your glove compartment. If we don’t brush our teeth, their health erodes and the roots that keep them firmly in our mouths will rot and they’ll fall out.
In a similar way, for our faith to stay strong we need to be rooted in God’s love for us or we’ll fall away from the one who loved us enough to die for us so we could live. That’s the subject of today’s teaching. Pastor Jill is back and excited to bring us this sermon called “Becoming A Rooted & Grounded Community.”
