Question: 58% of people say they’ve had arguments with a partner, roommate, or family member over this in shared spaces. What is it?

Answer: Recurring smells!

Living in a stinky home isn’t enjoyable for anyone. Has your place ever had a smell so bad it’s caused a fight? It may sound extreme, but it’s actually more common than you might think. These fights are often started because someone won’t deal with their own smelly stuff, like fishing or hunting gear, gym clothes and bags, or their pet.

So many things can cause anger in us: smells, politics, opinions and preferences on music, food, movies, or many other things. But the truth is, solving the problems we experience are rarely — if ever — solved better with anger than they would be with things like love, patience, kindness, and gentleness.

That’s the subject of today’s sermon. While Jill is away at a conference, we have the privilege of hearing from our good friend Karl Wheeler. His message to us from the heart of God the Father is called “Anger and the Kingdom of Heaven.”
