Question: The average person spends 6 months of their life doing this. What is it?
Answer: Waiting at red lights!

That's a lot of time to wait. When we look back and add up all the little minutes sitting at red lights it really adds up.

How much more powerful is it when we look back at our lives and add up all the times we see the Lord working on our behalf, providing for us, guiding us, protecting us, and loving us? That's why it's so important we spend time reflecting on God's goodness, even creating memorials to remind us of His faithfulness and love.

Last week we saw how the Hebrew people experienced God's power and care through the parting of the Red Sea, and there was no doubt about the Lord's saving act. This week we'll see how they memorialized this experience in a sermon from Pastor Jill called "The Lord is My Strength & My Song."
