Question: In a recent poll, researchers discovered the number one reason people don't RSVP to an event is because they are afraid of being direct. What was the number two reason people said they don't RSVP?
Answer: FOMO!

Person 1: What does FOMO stand for?
Person 2: I don't know, but I'm pretty sure all my friends already do.

Seriously though, the Fear of Missing Out is a real thing. Have you ever felt this way? In the age of social media and what seems like unlimited options, it's easy to feel like you might miss out on something if you commit too early to an invitation. But what if that invitation is from the God of the universe to commit to loving Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength? The stakes might be a lot higher at that point.

Today Pastor Jill brings the fourth sermon in our advent series on this very subject, "The Paradox of the Messiah."
