Question: Super Bowl weekend is the slowest weekend of the year for what?
Chances are that you don’t have any weddings to attend later today, but do you plan on watching the Super Bowl? Who will you root for: The Buccaneers or the Chiefs? How many of you don’t really care, except you just want Tom Brady to lose?!? It’s been 19 years since the Buccaneers were last in the Super Bowl—that’s a long time to wait.
None of us like to wait. Waiting is hard, especially when it comes to trusting God. Sometimes, our waiting on God can feel like nothing more than wishful thinking. And yet, God meets us in the waiting and never forgets His promises to us. If you're in a season of waiting this morning, we believe God wants to meet you in this place. Today, we look at a story of waiting and how God keeps His promises in a message from Pastor Jill called "The God Who Makes the Impossible, Possible." It's the final message in our series "The Promises of God and the Choices We Make."
