Question: About 2,600 people are treated by doctors each year for injuries associated with these common household items. What are they?
Answer: Plants!
Have you ever been injured by a plant? Crazy how something so innocent can cause so much pain. Despite all that, plants are also very fragile. They need a lot of care, and a lot of work to cultivate properly. If done properly, the work we put into caring for our plants can really benefit us.
Studies show that house plants can:
Boost mood, productivity, concentration and creativity
Reduce stress, fatigue, sore throats and colds
Clean indoor air by absorbing toxins, increasing humidity and producing oxygen
Maybe, like caring for plants, any work we find ourselves doing has the potential to bring us many benefits. Seeing all our work in the light of God's purposes for us can show these benefits. Today, Pastor Jill brings us a sermon on this subject from Genesis 2 called "Transforming Your Work into Worship."
