Four Do's & Don'ts of Friendship

January 13, 2019 Speaker: Steve Garcia

Topic: Friendship Passage: Jeremiah 38:1–38:13

Question: Can you name a friend you had when you were 9-years-old?

Cool! Friends matter. And our interest in friendship may go back to infancy. A 2014 study in the Journal of Experimental Psychology concluded that babies watch our adult relationships and can tell who our friends are from as early as 9-months of age!

While we start making friends when we're itty-bitty, we should never stop because changes in locations, situations, and seasons of life will call us to (as the old song said) "Make new friends and keep the old."

Today, we'll learn about some biblical principles of friendship. We'll see how on one occasion when God rescued Jeremiah from danger, he did it through a friend. This morning, Steve brings a message called "Four Do's and Don'ts of Friendship."
