Question: Have you ever left milk and cookies out for Santa?
Was it a tradition you grew up with?
Did you do it this year?
Family traditions like that are really fun. We hope you have warm sweet memories of Christmas with your family. But if things in your family are less than ideal, you're not alone. Many of us share heartaches and hard times in our family stories. And the story of Christmas begins with a little family that almost broke up before it could even get started.
This morning, Steve brings a message about the Holy Family, Joseph, Mary, and the Baby Jesus, whose name is also Immanuel -- God With Us. His message is called "God Is With Us When..." (Or How to Practice the Presence of God).
Sermon Notes (from Matthew 1:18-25):
1. God is with Us when our plans are interrupted. (18-19)
2. God is with Us when our path is foggy. (20-21)
3. God is with Us when our purpose is obedience. (22-25)
