Stop Looking for Perfection

July 1, 2018 Speaker: Steve Garcia Series: Created to Be Creative: God, Art & You

Topic: The Pursuit of Human-ness Passage: Genesis 2:7–2:9, Genesis 2:15–2:25

Question: One in every few hundred people have an extra one of these. What is it?
Answer: A rib!

One in 200 of us has a “cervical rib” — an extra rib which arises from the seventh cervical vertebra. It’s a congenital abnormality that usually goes undetected without any pain or problems.

Creativity often goes undetected as well. We often miss it in ourselves and others because we expect a camera-ready perfect performance. But like all of God's gifts, creativity must be discovered, encourage, and developed. The good news is, it's never too late to do so.

This morning, Steve brings us a message called “Stop Looking for Perfection: The Pursuit of Human-ness.” it’s part two in our summer series “Created to Be Creative - God, Art & You.”
