Youth and Kids

Welcome to Celebration Community Church!  A fun place for Kids to get serious about God!

Our Children’s Ministry Exists…to reach children, to connect them with other children, to help them grow in their faith, and to challenge them to discover their ministry and honor God with their life!

We’ve decided, and you’re probably way ahead of us, that pre-adults are complicated. We’ve separated the program into Sunday School which happens during the church service for kids up through middle school and a more detailed program for youth older than

that.  We even have separate go-to folks heading up the programs for the younger kids (Kathy Swigle) and the older young people (Wes Scheu). Actually, it might be best to think of things this way:

  • Infants and Toddlers – drop them off in the Nursery before/during service
  • Pre-school and Elementary aged children are dismissed to Sunday School after Kid’s Time during the services
  • Tweeners or Middle Schoolers have their own Sunday School class during the 10:45 AM service in the middle school room at the end of the south wing, and other programed events each month
  • High School Youth are encouraged to participate in the church service and join in events with other High Schoolers each week on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the house youth cellar.
